The statement that there are less and less people who believe in God is a fact. People seem to like the changes that happen in their lives. They earn more, build new houses, go for expensive foreign holidays, and tend to hide themselves in their closed and rich world. But can money and goods be the real targets in our lives or is there something more valuable?
Firstly, the need for something or someone who takes care of us from above is obvious for me. The researches show that the majority of the European society believes in God though they dont go to churches and dont pray. Maybe the old methods of teaching and talking about religion are worn-off.
The latest news of Popes death shook the whole world. People saw that even saints arent immortal. That day millions of people gathered in churches, no matter the faith, and prayed for the soul of one of the greatest Poles ever.
On the whole, religions will change because we all change but Im quite sure they wont disappear. We have to remember that no matter what happens in our lives we can always turn to the Creator of our world. Additionally, it is proved that faithful people live longer than those who dont believe at all.
